On Friday, October 6th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Portfolio Center of Columbia College, in conjunction with the Departments of Film/Video and Television, will host the 2nd annual Reel Exchange. Reel Exchange is where industry professionals from the film and television industry come on campus to view and provide feedback to students and alumni animators, cinematographers, directors, motion designers, editors and videographers. Learn about best practices for producing a body of work that will get the attention of professionals in the field. Guests include Pete Biagi (cinematographer "Falling" and "Outing Riley"); Aaron Hartline (animator "Ice Age" and "Veggie Tales"); Michael Palmiero ("Nice Bombs" and "Dummy"); Charlie Siskel (producer "Bowling for Columbine" and "The Awful Truth"); Pete Teschner (editor "Charlie's Angels," "Dodgeball" and "Dr. Doolittle"); and many others.
