Bebe Miller and video artist Maya Ciarrocchi will show experts from Landing/Place, a new dance/media project that incorporates the use of Motion Capture technology, real-time video processing and live electronic sound. The company will demonstrate how working with media in a "real-time" processing environment provides greater flexibility in design for the stage as it allows for these elements to be "alive" rather than static and fixed.

FamilyDance Matinee Series with Bebe Miller Company
Join in the fun of the seventh season of our popular FamilyDance Matinee Series...a great way for families to see dance, share the experience, even dance together! Spend a Saturday afternoon at The Dance Center enjoying an hour-long family oriented program by top contemporary dance companies and Dance Center students. Each FamilyDance Matinee begins with an optional hands-on movement workshop for children and adults taught by members of the performing company.
