Moodle Workshops

OASIS causing pain in your noodle?
Handwritten homework that looks like a doodle?
You don't need to fret
There's a better bet
It's time to find out about Moodle!

In case you missed the last Moodle workshops, you can join us for a Moodle show off session on Monday, June 9th Alexandroff center, room 811B from 10 - 11:30 am. Brendan Riley will give a short tour and comparison between the Moodle LMS and Columbia's OASIS system. He'll talk about advantages, disadvantages, and generally show off what it can do.

If you're planning to come, it would be handy if you'd send an email or leave a phone message with Bridgett Chambliss (bchambliss@colum.edu, ext. 6972).

End of the Semester Survey & Stipends

Hello everybody!

We would like to thank you for taking our workshops this semester.
Hopefully we will see you again in the future.

Meanwhile, please take our survey. Your input will help us determine how CIT
can best serve the needs of staff and faculty of Columbia College.
It will only take you a minute.

If you were satisfied with the workshops you took, we want to hear that too.
In order to continue what we do or to expand our workshop offerings we need
to document that our work is benefiting you.

It will only take a minute! Use the following link to go to the survey page:

For those who qualify - I cannot wait to send you the certificates and submit the
pay requests for your $200 stipends! Please read the following carefully and
make sure you qualify.

Only participants who attended ALL workshops in a series (e.g. video editing series)
earned the CIT Certificate. Please email me with your name, how you would
like it to appear on the certificate and which course (or courses) you completed.

Only part-time faculty members who attended ALL workshops in a series
earned the $200 stipend. Full-time staff who also teach
part-time in Columbia DO NOT qualify for this stipend.

If you qualify for a stipend please send the following information to bchambliss@colum.edu.
- your full name
- social security number or Columbia employee id
- address
- which course or courses you completed (you will get $200 for each completed course)

Thanks and have a great summer!
